The project was a one-week solo sprint research for the UX/UI Immersive course. We received a few briefings and I chose to work on one about eDreams. The main objective was to give end-users an engaging experience at their destination with an interesting and accessible selection of activities. I chose to solve this problem with a human solution: eDreams Ambassadors.

My first step was to conduct five interviews with end-users who met the briefing criteria (young people, alone or with friends/family, who had travelled in the last six months). After that, I conducted a benchmark of the competition to search for similar offers. Additionally, I conducted an eDreams benchmark to identify potential opportunities to apply the new proposal.
You can see all the research done in the link above.
The main insights that I got was:
- Users value the opinions of local citizens more than anything else.
- They want to have unique experiences that make them feel special and that they can't experience in other destinations.
- They want activities close to them that let them get to know the city while walking to that place.
I integrated Getyourguide.es into the eDreams branding and created a new service called 'Ambassadors'. These local citizens guide and accompany travelers to their chosen destination.
